Check-in & Check-Out Time:
The hotel’s official check-in time is after 1400hrs and check-out time is before 1200hrs.
Early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed and will only be subject to room availability. To secure a room for early arrival, it is advisable to reserve the room one-day prior. Should you require a later check-out until 18:00 hours, half the applicable rate per room will be levied. Thereafter, a full night’s rate will apply.

VE Hotel & Residence reserves the right to adjust rates agreed within the Term in the event of tax revisions by the government (or such other legitimate authority) and service charge revisions as may be reasonably necessary.

Notes For Room Bookings:
- Rates are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia.
- Rates are exempted from Tourism Tax valid till 31st December 2022
- Effective 1st July 2021, rates are subject to Taxes & Tourism Tax imposed by the Malaysian Government unless otherwise stated. Tourism Tax at RM10.00nett per room per night will apply for non-Malaysians only.
- Complimentary daily buffet breakfast at The Straits Estate, Level M3 from 0630hrs to 1030hrs.
- Daily stay housekeeping services – Bed linens will only be changed on the 3rd day of stay.
- Extra bed is chargeable at RM134+ per unit per night with one (1) breakfast.
- Bedding configuration will be subject to availability upon check-in.
- Applicable for FIT booking only. For group booking more than 10 rooms and above, new rates will be applied
- Rate is non-commissionable
- Extended to delegates of the group of three (3) days prior, and three (3) days after the event dates indicated in the room block, subject to availability of guest rooms at the time of reservation
- The cutoff to place a booking will be 2 weeks before the check-in date. Any booking after the cutoff date will be subject to change.
Attrition Schedule And Cancellation Penalty:
The hotel allows partial cancellation of confirmed rooms without incurring a penalty based on the following schedule. Rooms cancelled after the scheduled period will be subjected to penalty except for cancellation due to a force majeure event. No cancellation is allowed for less than 14 days prior to arrival and 100% cancellation charges shall apply.
Less than 14 Days Prior to Arrival: 100% cancellation charge throughout the stay
Postponement Policy:
The above penalty charges are applicable for postponement or other changes in dates after confirmation of the event. Cancellation/changes must be received in writing. Should the function space be released after confirmation, the deposit paid shall not be refunded.
